A spiral-bound booklet entitled "Neighborhood Analysis and Socio-Economic Profile, City of Barberton, Ohio". It was created by the Barberton Planning Commission and Tri-County Regional Planning Commission in September 1973. "The report is divided into two sections. The first, the Neighborhood Analysis is a study involving the delineation of the City of Barberton into neighborhod units and then analyzing these units in reference to structural and environmental conditions. It continues with a general determination of the areas in need of rehabilitation or redevelment measures, and in many cases, conservation, and growth... ...The second main section, the Socio-Economic Profile, is a summary of a study of Barberton's people and activities. It analyzes the past and present develoment trends and patterns and the characteristics of the past, presents, and future populations." |
