Woman in dress with flowers |
Description |
Two copies of a photograph of a woman wearing a light-colored dress, hat, and holding a large bouquet of roses. The dress has detailing on the upper sleeves and in the back where a train would be. The hat is small and round with detailing in the front and a small amount of tulle on the sides. The woman appears to be wearing or holding a wrap over her hands. She is standing in front of a large curtain. This is likely a wedding photograph. One copy is in a cardboard folder or frame which is gray. The cardboard has an artistic border along the top of the photograph and partially repeated along the bottom of the photograph. When the frame is closed to protect the photograph, a Lion Rampant design is embossed into the cardboard. "The Lion Rampant is the Royal Standard of the King or Queen of Scots and is the personal banner of the monarchs. Appearance: The Lion Rampant flag depicts a lion, the king of beasts, rearing up with three of its clawed paws outstretched as if in battle." The second copy is not framed. It has a tear at the bottom left and several folds in the upper two corners. No date or name provided on either photograph. |
